The Senior Engineer for Supply Chain Tech will lead the relationship between tech and operations in the fulfillment center. The right candidate will have strong hands-on development skills and experience leading support with a focus on Warehouse Systems (WMS, WCS, TMS, and Automation.) This position will also contribute to cross-functional teams (including tech, business, and operations) to develop solutions that meet all the needs of Fanatics’ DTC operations, and will heavily contribute to new site launches. This position is based on site in the Las Vegas, NV fulfillment center.
•Lead the relationship with operations partners within the site/facility
•Build partnerships and confidence with other teams, both internal and external
•Design and guide new solutions/enhancements to meet all relevant needs with minimal complexity
•Lead the site coverage, own reliability/uptime of the systems needed to run the facility
•On site support for system, including on-call rotation and night shift during peak season
•Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system issues, and adherence to ITIL SLAs
•Lead communication and confirm ticket resolution with internal/external partners
•Drive root cause analysis and provide permanent solutions
•Demonstrate continuous improvement, never solve the same problem twice
•Follow up and resolution for both internally and externally introduced bugs
•Drive the SDLC (software development lifecycle) of enhancements
•Maximize out of the box functionality, minimizing development efforts
•Solve diverse and complex problems with simplicity in user experience and code
•Drive the design and review vendor enhancements and bug fixes
•Ensure design/solutions deliver measurable data to track their ROI
•Provide estimates, test plans, and acceptance criteria for all changes
•Support change management, development, migration, and release/deployment
•Develop and maintain user/system documentation
•Required: Strong tier 1 WMS experience (MA WMi/WMOS, JDA, HighJump) 5 yrs
•Required: Strong SQL skills, Oracle, MS SQL | Stored Procedures, Jobs, Indices, XML
•Required: Strong Hands on Programming Experience (any language) 3 yrs
•Required: Strong functional, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
•Preferred: Experience in cloud and with rest API driven web apps (AWS, Go a plus)
•Preferred: Carrier Management Experience 2 yrs
•Preferred: Experience in a direct to consumer (DTC) or e-Commerce.
•Preferred: Experience with WCS/material handling equipment (pick/put to light, conveyance, unit and shipping sortation, and goods to person/AMR/ASRS).
