This role is leading the in-house production operations team, blank readiness, and a liaison with Fanatics network of 3rd party decorating partners. This role is a highly visible role in the organization with daily intersections with Fanatics leadership team. Driving communication, processes, and reporting. This position also provides support on special projects as needed for the US Operations team based inTampa. This position will collaborate closely with other team members on the Production Inventory team to meet our goal of having the Right Inventory at the Right Place at the Right Time for Third Party Manufacturing needs. This position will be accountable for all processes, communications, and management activities related to production inventory at Third Party partners.This position will play a critical role in ensuring we have the Right Inventory, in the Right Place, at the Right Time by working cross functionally with the Inventory Readiness team to drive blank inventory positioning strategy based on capacity planning. They will support in monitoring on-hand inventory levels and driving pro-active and reactive processes to ensure we deliver to our customers. This position also provides support on special projects as needed for the US Operations team based in Tampa.Essential Functions and Competencies· Leading and transforming a team to become a best- in-class headwear decorating operation both with internal and 3rd party decorators· Staff, train, and plan labor to achieve 100% on time performance while maintaining cost per unit targets· Manage vendor relationships, event/hot market planning, providing regular updates, determining production schedules, and maintaining effective communication to provide the local sales reps and accounts with needed updates.· Establishing and maintain quality standards for both in-house and 3rd party decoration operations· Supplies management, equipment maintenance and an aptitude to solve problems – existing and potential - are critical in running a successful operation· Be a key business partner with all cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Finance & Order Management teams, etc· Support new product development, hot market and other business opportunities as needed· Submitting Bi-Weekly employee timecards.· Reviewing material quarterly for most cost/user friendly goods on the market· The Employee should be able to adhere to Fanatics Brands Code of Conduct and Core Values.· Create and improve current state processes, systems, tool sets, and business rules to support Fanatics continuous goal of improving customer SLA while operating profitably.· Work closely with Inventory Supply Planning, Production Inventory Readiness Manager and Demand Forecasting teams to drive proactive decision making and strategy alignment to support long-range, mid-range, and short-range customer demand.· Partner with Order Fulfillment cross-functional partners (Capacity Team, Order Allocations Team, and Manufacturing Team), Accounting and Finance to ensure transactions related to Production inventory at third party contractors are accurate and timely and are interpreted correctly in our financial reporting processes to optimize Fanatics Brands domestic and Near Shore order fulfillment capabilities.· Develop breath of knowledge of Fanatics business (outside of core responsibilities) to ensure inventory decision making and strategy is aligned with overall company goals.· Monitor on-hand inventory levels across internal and external production partners to ensure positioning aligns with overall strategy and go-forward need/ databases for integrity and quality of inventory records.· Drive needed action to remediate on hand inventory issues including initiating transfer requests and/or requests for additional inventory purchases.· Conversant in current analytical tools (MS Excel, MicroStrategy, MS Office) is required· Continuous improvement mindset with the goal of driving more automation of executional/transactional activities to ensure time is spent on analytical and strategic activities.· Establish Data-driven processes and decision-making patterns. Create a “playbook” for decision making and exception management.· Demonstrated ability in using problem solving techniques and providing accurate recap of findings and solutions with timelines to upper management.· Support development of new tools and reporting required for improving analytical capabilities to assist in inventory planning and reconciliation.· Ensure production WIP movement at Third Party is done correctly for all aspects pertaining to Inventory (Inventory pulls for production, damage/misprint reconciliation).· Key contributor to special projects, new implementations of systems related to management of third-party inventory.· Provides support to team for daily operations, including analyzing reports· Assist in the development and implementation of any materials management systems that will enhance inventory control at Fanatics.· Ability to drive root-cause analysis for exceptions or inventory control issues, summarize, and implement solutions to fix.· Strong collaboration and critical thinking skills.· Exhibit a sense of urgency, working in a fast-paced environment with constructive judgment during demanding situations.Supervisory ResponsibilityWarehouse Team Personnel – could be specific team- based on the processes being performed (ie Lead – Receiving, Lead – Pic and Pack, Lead – Shipping, Production)Work EnvironmentCombination of Office and Warehouse EnvironmentOffice: This job operates in a professional office environment.
