The person filling this position will be responsible for enabling the IT components of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance across multiple lines of business within Fanatics. Additionally, this person will provide internal remediation consulting on compliance frameworks, contribute to control development and modification, develop policy and assist in identifying technical risk within the Fanatics organization. Our team members are given a great deal of autonomy in the pursuit of keeping Fanatics secure and a successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and is expected to be comfortable and effective working independently and as part of a larger, highly distributed team. We're looking specifically for folks who can communicate broadly across different skill sets and set the pace to achieve organizational goals. Fanatics is a fast-growing company and our security program needs to be able to keep pace with that growth while not disrupting innovation.Responsibilities:Support audit execution processes by:-Provide internal consultation to meet SOX requirements as well as governing IT General Controls-Assist in the annual SOX 404 financial statement mapping, risk assessment and scoping process identifying significant locations, business units, transaction cycles and critical processes and accounts ensuring an adequate scope and testing of the Company financial statements based on criteria defined each calendar period-Assist in the coordination of management SOX 404 process controls documentation and review controls to ensure adequate design and identification of key controls for assigned critical processes/accounts-Assist in the coordination and the completion of the annual SOX 404 Compliance Plan in compliance with required timelinesCoordinate with business owners to ensure controls are being properly designed and thought through when business or organization changes occur-Assist in performing SOX IT testing of design and operating effectiveness-Liaise with external auditors as required-Assist in ad hoc projects as requiredSupport the risk assessment processes by:-Identifying and documenting emerging risks-Providing input for compliance risk trends and issuesDirectly engage with external teams to ensure adherence to processesMentor fellow Fanatics personnel on best security practices through cross-functional work with multiple technical and non-technical teamsRequirements:-3 years experience in leading SOX or ITGC audits-Proficiency in written and spoken English-Meticulous in detail and organization-Proactive and self-motivated, including a willingness to reach out to development teams and stakeholders to discuss highly technical issues-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-Ability to approach problem solving in a constructive and collaborative way that does not require absolutesPreferred Qualifications:-Bachelor's degree in an IT or accounting-related field strongly preferred-CISA, CIA, or similar certification strongly preferred-Strong understanding of GAAP preferred-Experience with cloud-based tools preferred-Experience in an Agile environment preferred-Ability to present findings and summaries of issues to senior management preferredThings We Care About· Your career growth, your ideas, your work-life balance, and your well-being.· Diversity and Inclusion· Our Company Culture and Values· Providing outstanding Company Perks and BenefitsCompany Overview Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform to ignite and harness the passions of fans and maximize the presence and reach for hundreds of partners globally.
