JOB OVERVIEW:

This A/R Supervisor will support the invoicing and collections for our clients along with a staff of 2 individuals. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and flexible, with strong account reconciliation and customer service skills. Candidates should be able to think both creatively and analytically as we are continuously looking to improve processes, cycle time, accuracy, attention to detail and above all, customer focus. The A/R Supervisor is responsible for a variety of internal and external customer support issues, including the billing process and daily activities. The position works closely with other functions, including Accounting, Insurance, and Operations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Oversees the operations of the billing department and serve as the go to person for all billing inquires and processes
• Ensure customer invoicing is completed in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring invoices comply with appropriate service agreements, guidelines, and regulations
• Deescalate client and branch billing issues and resolve in a timely manner with a customer service mindset
• Plan and oversee day-to-day work activities and job performance for billing/collections
• Take full ownership of AR Aging and accounts receivable reconciliations
• Reviews accounts with an uncollectable status for recommendations regarding resolutions and next steps.
• Analyzes trends impacting collection and accounts receivable and take appropriate action to realign staff and revise policies and procedures.
• Assesses and recommend quality improvement initiatives related to billing/collections processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree business administration preferably in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 3 years billing and collections experience with a deep understanding of revenue cycle.
• 2 years supervisory or management experience preferred
• A combination of education and experience will be considered
• Prior experience with In-home and Private healthcare billing is a PLUS

• Ability to conceptualize workflow, develop plans, and implement appropriate actions
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to positively motivate team, helping with other related tasks as required
• Strong written & verbal skills required
• Strong Customer Service skills required

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time
