Overview

The Activities Director is responsible for planning and implementing a quality leisure/social events program crafted to assist senior residents in maintaining their personal potential both physically and mentally. Position will lead all aspects of activity assistants. 

This is a full time position and may require evenings and weekends as needed. Part of MOD weekend (one saturday or one sunday -- every 7 weeks). Benefit eligible (PTO, Medical, Dental, Retirement, Tuition reimbursement) https://www.ebenezercares.org/benefits.html

Responsibilities/Job Description

• Develops program and activities reflective of resident interests
• Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents
• Coordinates community volunteers
• Leads and advises Activities Assistants

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Recreational Therapy or related Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred 
• Three to five years previous experience preferred
• Must be able to drive a 14 passenger van
