Factors Group of Nutritional Companies is Hiring a Facilities Technician Near Monroe, WA

The Facilities Technician’s job requires someone who is flexible and hardworking to assist our maintenance department in maintaining our production facilities including grounds and open spaces. You will take into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven Core Values such as Sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to your area of responsibility. This position pays: $18.00 - $23.00/hour Job Description:Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm Inspect all areas of the facility daily to identify problems with system failures, structural damages or breakages Respond to requests for maintenance services, including repairing locks, utilities, furniture assembly and installation Repair minor plumbing issues, drywall and do some carpentry work Change lights bulbs and ensure other fixtures and fittings are in good working order Ensure that all exterior doors are sealed and access control system is working properly Maintain all restrooms by ensuring that hands-free faucets, stalls and paper dispensers are working properly Test performance of appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves Maintain property exterior by ensuring the parking lot and sidewalks are free from standing water, litter and debris Painting Water jetting the drains Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessionsOther duties as assigned Requirements: Technical Proven experience as handyman Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems Basic math skills Forklift certification or experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent Attributes Positive attitude, with a customer service focus Ability to work both in a team and independently Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask Attention to detail Works well under time constraints Respect for authority and company policy Ability to speak, read and write English proficiently Proactively safety conscious Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job Availability for occasional overtime is an essential function of this job Physical Lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs Walk and stand for extended periods of time – 6hrs Best in class benefits including:Medical, dental, visionHealth and dependent FSA Employer paid life and long-term disability insurance401(k) with company matchWellness days – 80 hours/yearVacation – 80 hours/year10 paid holidaysDiscount on company productsSafety footwear allowanceShift differentials Employee appreciation events
