Job Description Summary The Test Engineer/Front Line Leader leads activities for assigned engine programs. In this role, you will be responsible to review shop manuals for test procedure changes, review/update quality documentation, and manage the hourly test personnel in their daily activities. Job Description Essential Responsibilities: Maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate the repair of test cell equipment Be the primary focal for select engine models for all test related activities Coordinate with other test sites for best practices Possess solid technical skills and solve problems quickly Manage a small group of hourly technicians that includes approving payroll, maintaining tracking spreadsheets, job assignments, and training Support and perform work in compliance to all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulations Qualifications/requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of manufacturing or shop experience) Willing to work overtime to include weekends Desired Characteristics: Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including the ability to lead specialized industrial electronics, PLC software Aircraft engine test experience on CFM56, CF34, CT7/T700 engine programs Project management skills Airframe and Powerplants license Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology advancements Effective problem identification and solution skills To comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years’ experience required for any role based within the USA.
