The Product Specialist Certification team has an integral role in the electronic trading process for four core SS&C Eze products – Trade Order Management, Execution Management, Eclipse, and MarketTrader. Our responsibility is to become experts on FIX protocol and trading workflows and to collaborate with buy-side and sell-side clients, third-party vendors, R&D stakeholders, and sales to ensure the SS&C Investment Suite remains an asset for our clients. The position will be focused on managing projects that enable our clients to utilize advanced workflows to trade global equities, futures, and options. The role will also help develop and apply best practices to team procedures with an eye on constantly improving the overall efficiency of the work. Job Functions: Manage multiple complex projects and tasks efficiently and autonomously Build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Certify advanced trading workflows across SS&C Eze’s product suite Develop, test, and implement broker Algorithms across SS&C Eze’s product suite Proactively assist in project scoping and case evaluation process Identify key areas for improvement and work with management to develop strategic goals to improve team dynamics and client satisfaction Spearhead training initiatives for new hires to the Product Specialist Certification team Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a related field 2-5 years of relevant work experiences Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills Consistent positive attitude, even when dealing with difficult situations Ability to understand key interdependencies and impact of work Existing knowledge or ability to learn complexities of investment trading workflows It would be great if you also had: Working knowledge of FIX protocol for versions 4.0, 4.2, and 4.4 Experience working with buy-side and sell-side traders or in trading operations roles Understanding of FIX ATDL (Algorithmic Trading Definition Language) or Algorithmic Trading Intermediate SQL and/or XML skills From the Manager: “In this role, you will have the unique experience of working with four SS&C Eze products, providing opportunities for both personal and professional growth.
