Eyeways is Hiring a Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant Near North Hollywood, CA
Busy Ophthalmology practice seeking a medical scribe. This person must be familiar with medical terminology/anatomy and preferably has past background as a medical scribe. Position would be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:00-5:00pm. Open to potential additionally hours Wednesdays, but must be able to work M/TU/THUR 8-5pm no exceptions.
The scribe would be responsible for documentation in the patient’s chart. Currently our office is working off of paper patient charts. The scribe will be the right hand of the doctor moving with him from room to room during patient examinations and documenting the doctor’s findings. The scribe may also be responsible for doing additional testing for the doctor including OCTs, photos, etc.
Hourly rate will be negotiable upon experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
