Job Description
Job Summary

Our team at the Eye Center of the Dakotas and The EyeWear Gallery is looking for a person who enjoys working in a friendly, customer-service focused optometric practice where patients and staff are treated like family. We offer flexibility and a fun work environment. We are looking for someone with a love for glasses and helping people find the perfect pair! Experience is a bonus, but we will train the right person. If you are looking for a change in your existing career, or have an interest in starting a new career in optical sales, this may be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities and Duties

You will:

  • Help patients understand the best lens options for their specific needs
  • Work with patients to choose their eye wear, measure and place orders
  • Help patients understand coverage through their vision insurance plans
  • Dispense eye wear
  • Adjust and repair glasses

Qualifications and Skills

Our top priority is customer service. We seek a friendly individual who enjoys helping people.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Works well with others
  • Has an eye for fashion
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills and is computer literate
  • Prior optical experience preferred, we are willing to train the right person

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
