Capture Manager, Government Segment

Exyn Technologies is pioneering autonomous aerial robot systems for complex, GPS-denied environments. The company’s full-stack solution enables flexible deployment of single or multi-robots that can intelligently navigate and dynamically adapt to complex environments in real-time.

We are currently in the market for a Capture Manager, Government Segment.

The Role:

This is a “hybrid” role that requires in-office presence from time to time (hardware-related projects, customer meetings, etc). 

Working as part of the Government Business Development team you’ll be leading and coordinating the proposal phase for new business opportunities. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Capture management - Perform market analysis, identify opportunities, develop and execute capture plans, and monitor competitor activity for each capture
  • Lead opportunities and help develop a strategy to win them. Execute with team support a response meeting Customer requirements. Maintain communication throughout the award cycle.
  • Proposal management and preparation - research new proposal opportunities in betaSam, Consortiums, etc. Developing the schedule for review and execution of RFx responses, white papers
  • Support prospective customer calls, prepare relevant follow-up materials 
  • Manage and prepare all associated government documentation.
  • Attend industry-relevant conferences where appropriate for business development
  • Plan and execute biweekly strategy sessions with appropriate internal stakeholders
  • NDA / contract review & execution.
  • Partnering with internal/external stakeholders to scope projects and initiatives.
  • Lead the capture through the Pursuit & Order Capture (P/OC) process
  • Drive the capture team to apply critical thinking in development of the customers most important requirements, strategies, themes, discriminators, and proposal materials
  • Be a critical thinker, pose insightful questions to guide the team to better refined win strategies
  • Challenge the capture team when they are off course; drive and ensure the necessary course corrections are implemented at the team and individual level to avoid re-work
  • Exhibit the capability to foster an environment that enables application of innovative thinking to business challenges resulting in creative and competitive solutions

Compensation:

This is a full-time position. As a level 5 individual contributor the salary is $133,000 and is based on market data aligned with our strategic approach to compensation. In addition to cash, you’ll receive equity and be eligible to enroll in our benefits package which includes health/vision/dental insurance (available from day one!), 401(k), vacation time, family leave, and more!

  • Competitive Win Rate > 70% on DoD and Federal Government opportunities,
  • Experience in Captures in the $1-5M range,
  • 8 years experience in leading government capture efforts,
  • Experience with Capture Processes and government bids
  • Experience preparing a project/program proposal 
  • Experience working with clients/customers 
  • Experience working in a technical/engineering focused environment
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant business, technical, or professional field of study.
