Provides, directs andsupervises all aspects of quality patient care, including, but not limited to;screening, evaluation and treatment, treatment planning,goal setting, family education and documentation, in order to assure the bestoutcome possible for the patient. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) assuresthat the patient care follows the organization’s guidelines; professionalstandards and community needs, and is in compliance with Federal and Stateguidelines.
The SLP serves as apatient and rehabilitation advocate for current prospective patients, to allinternal and external customers. Ensures cross-disciplinarycoordination in order to provide for consistent patient care. Participatesin quality assurance and customer service activities.
