Expleo is Hiring an Aircraft Mechanic Near Mobile, AL
Overview
EXPLEO USA is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic to join a dynamic and expanding team in Mobile, AL.
The Mechanic is responsible for the Final phase and Dock station to prepare an aircraft for handover to flight line, this project will last 6-8 weeks with a possible extension starting ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Prepare mechanical components at the station/workplace/aircraft parking space
- Installation and manufacture: mark, prepare, assemble, adapt, torque and secure mechanical components and parts
- Inspect bonding as per order/GTI, drawing and specifications
- Prepare aircraft for system function checks
- Preform system functions
- Specialized in the Areas mentioned below:
- VTP and HTP installation, Hydraulic lines installation
- Installation in the Area of the Belly fairing and Flap installation
- Experience with flight controls, slats, flaps, assembly and rigging
- Deep aircraft cleaning
- Handover checks at critical areas
- Forward checks prior to aircraft movements
- Safety locking
- Gauging Test
- Other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent required
- A&P Licence with training experience only will be considered
- Completed vocational training (Mechanics/Systems) preferred
- 5 years hands-on experience in Aviation Production preferred
- Previous training and experience working with Airbus preferred
