Hybrid/remote workforce:

Position details:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing Payments Products to support Experity’s $1B payments services business, including improving client experience with the Experity services, managing the relationship with our internal Product, Sales, Marketing and Client Success teams, transitioning clients moving from one payments product to another, and contributing to the development of the Company’s strategy to build its own payment processing products (i.e. ISO or PayFac). This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate with multiple internal organizations (product, engineering, finance, sales, marketing, and operations) and a strong track record of execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
  • Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases
  • Write the business case for investments and gain internal approval
  • Propose a product marketing plan and budget and then deliver against it
  • Write Product Requirements and Market Requirements documents
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish partnerships
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Demo prototypes and new features to customers for feedback and to generate excitement, and cultivate relationships with key clients
  • Ensure delivery of goals and objectives for the product
  • Work with sales to set pricing
  • Monitor, report and improve product performance
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations to develop and deliver go to market launch plans
  • Conduct market and competitor research
  • Promote the product to sales teams through sales training sessions, webinars, newsletters and other mechanisms
  • Develop and deliver training on new features and functionality to operations teams
  • Collate feedback from sales, voice of the customer teams, and clients
  • Serve as a secondary escalation point for existing customers to answer questions, provide visibility, and resolve any challenges
  • Work with Payments leadership to execute the long-term payments service program strategy and road map, including the product and technology plan for the Payments (PayFac) Platform
  • Contributes to the creation of the departmental strategy in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Executes and improves the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance overall effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned

Travel:

  • Ability to travel as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five or more years of experience with payments services in e-commerce, retail, software or financial services industries
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the payments services ecosystem
  • Experience with large scale payments platforms
  • Focus and thoughtfulness on data and analytics to solve problems and experience achieving results through continuous improvement
  • Experience in effectively working with multiple teams for collaboration and company-wide project delivery
  • Tenacity to keep issues top of mind of relevant stakeholders and conviction to stand-by decisions
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize independently
