Product Marketing Manager, Escapia –
Are you seeking a fast-paced role in an exciting industry? Expedia Group is looking for a Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about bringing customer-centric products to market. This is a unique and rare opportunity to be part of a brand and team that acts like a startup with a culture of entrepreneurship and the benefits of a large corporation! Specifically, this person will drive product marketing for our Escapia software team, which helps over 1,000 vacation rental managers simplify operations and run their business through our powerful platform. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of our customers and our market to identify needs and champion product solutions from concept through launch. We'll look to you to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies, build strong and enduring product positioning and messaging, and ensure internal and external readiness for new product and feature releases.
We are entrepreneurial and agile in nature, so it’s key to be able to operate at both a strategic level and a detailed execution level. This will require you to work closely with teams across the company, including product, engineering, customer success, support, and sales.
Who you are:
5 years of B2B product marketing experience, with a validated record of well-executed go-to-market plans
Prior experience working for a Software as a Service (SaaS) company and balancing the needs of driving net new sales and growing adoption within existing users
Know how to find product-market fit and fiercely advocate for the customer while balancing business needs and technical considerations
Ability to collaborate with senior leadership to drive alignment and decisions
Experience working with Sales and Customer support teams to become a customer authority and advocate. You'll have the opportunity to advocate for customers every step of the way!
History working with technical products and forming close partnerships with product and engineering teams
Experience merchandising product features leading to new sales, quick adoption, and lasting usage
What you do:
Partner with Escapia leadership to develop long term strategy and plans for product and segment growth
Develop and implement feedback programs with end-users to craft GTM strategies, positioning, and messaging for releases
Perform competitive analysis and maintain an understanding of current market conditions
Provide input into the product development process to ensure new features have product/market fit and meet customer and business needs
Define go-to-market strategies for product launches, including positioning, messaging, segmentation, internal readiness plans, and adoption goals
Partner closely with the marketing and design teams to build out and implement detailed external launch communications plans
Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Marketing teams to drive positioning, messaging, and programs for our prospects and net new software sales
