Executech is Hiring a Director of IT Near Redlands, CA

Summary

Your main priority is to oversee the successful delivery of California Computer Option’s IT Managed Services which is a subsidiary of Executech . As part of this, you will partner with the Operations Manager and appropriate staff to develop and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

Service Delivery & Client Success

  • Ensure all clients within the Company are appropriately managed and satisfied
  • Work with CSM and Technical Teams to address all ongoing and impromptu IT needs of clients, including managed services and project-based work
  • Review and manage weekly and month-end reports focused on IT consultant delivery success, client needs, and other relevant tasks
  • Work directly with the Project Management Team to ensure projects meet CCO Standards and client needs

NOC – Network Security

  • Ensure CCO and all Customers meet CCO IT Standards
  • All Devices are properly monitored, protected, and maintained
  • Work directly with NOC resource to ensure the above stated items are addressed and issues are resolved in a prompt manner

Technology Stack

  • Primary decision-maker and thought leader on all internal and external decisions related to technology products, tools, processes, etc.
    • Review IT Product/Service offering continually and update CCO roadmap
    • Work with tech team to bring new products online
  • Key partner in all emerging technology solutions and services (e.g. Cloud)
  • Ensure that the tools CCO uses are the right ones for our clients and are also usable from an admin/finance point-of-view

Employee Success & Coaching

  • Alongside the Leadership Team, help individual IT consultants and teams develop, improve, and achieve expectations related to service delivery and general consulting
  • Conduct regular reviews of Technical Staff, including regular one-on-one meetings with Technical Staff
  • Review and determine rightful candidates to perform duties specific for all available technical positions on a as needed basis
  • Help team members to become the best version of themselves
  • Foster a culture of trust and teamwork within the Company

Company Leadership

  • Participate in the weekly California Computer Options Leadership Team and contribute insights to help the broader company improve its service delivery and use of various technical tools
  • Exemplify California Computer Option’s culture and core values
  • Adopt and implement California Computer Option’s training standards
  • Develop and mentor (formally and informally) technical leaders across the company to become next generation of Tech leaders.
  • Best example across all technical employees of how to collaborate with other departments

Required Skills / Experience

  • 4 years as an IT professional (e.g., Network Admin, Systems Admin, IT Consultant, etc.), including proficiency with:
    • End-user support/troubleshooting, firewalls, anti-virus/EDR, O365, networking, server maintenance, etc.
  • Possess and have demonstrated strong management/leadership skills; prior management experience required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High comfort level working directly with clients, including:
    • Developing and executing successful IT solutions
    • Presenting to clients and relevant stakeholders
    • Addressing client concerns and experience with challenging conversations
  • Proven ability to work well across an organization and collaborate in the pursuit of a common goal

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Prior experience working at an IT managed service provider (MSP)
  • Prior experience working with small-to-mid-sized businesses
  • Familiarity with the public cloud (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.) and private cloud solutions
  • Familiarity with IT-related requirements under various compliance frameworks, such as: HIPAA, PCI, NIST, CMMC, HITRUST, etc.
  • Prior experience working in Linux Environments
