Commmercial Lines Account Manager
We are looking for a licensed Account Manager to create and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with our clients. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers while answering client queries. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Marketing department and Producers) to improve the entire customer experience. If you have a flair for client communication and understand consumer behavior, we’d like to meet you. Ideally, candidates for this role will be a licensed insurance professional and know how to work independently. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our sales team to be engaged with our products and services and assist in retention of our current customer base while continuing to grow and expand with new clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to producers
- Assist with challenging client requests and issues as needed
- Processing of renewals, endorsements, audits, finance agreements as well as providing adequate documentation in management system
- Assume accountability for multiple aspects of retaining current book of business
- Providing renewal proposals to producers in a timely manner
Skills
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role
- Demonstrable ability to communicate and service clients on daily basis
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Licensed insurance agent
- Experience with Applied Epic software system is a plus but not necessary
