Job Description:

The Client relies on a variety of software capabilities to perform its duties. The Client requires support specializing in SharePoint development. Work will include performing new development, enhancements, Maintenance and Operations (O&M) tasks, and providing ad-hoc user support. Project priorities shall be managed by the Client’s Information Technology (IT) Leader or designate. The web developer will execute SharePoint tasks as necessary to support the Client’s information technology enterprise, comply with Client requirements or IT best practices, and provide a full range of SharePoint support assistance. They will support SharePoint development and upgrades and interact with end users to gather or elucidate requirements, explaining end user procedures and techniques either in person or over the phone to users. The web developer will also interact with Client’s staff and contractors, participate in vendor support meeting in order to resolve issues, comply with IT enterprise oversight requirements, and perform all necessary functions required to maintain the Client’s SharePoint application.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE TS/SCI with FULL SCOPE POLY.

Mandatory skillset:

• Experience working as a SharePoint Developer
• Experience working with users to identify, validate, and prioritize SharePoint site requirements
• Experience creating and enhancing workflow architectures in SharePoint
• Experience migrating SharePoint sites and developing new sites with improved functionality
• Experience using a Bootstrap front end framework to enhance user experience
• Experience improving performance, stability, and optimization of SharePoint sites
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with security aspects of SharePoint
• Experience as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator (SCA) and the ability to obtain within the Client’s organization
• Experience performing Create, Read, Update and Delete (CRUD) operations using the Representational State Transfer (REST) interface provided by SharePoint
• Demonstrated ability to create and manage document libraries
• Experience with HTML5
• Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS v3 or higher)
• Experience using JavaScript programming including jQuery
• Experience maintaining SharePoint sites, custom lists, content types, and workflows
• Experience using SQL Report Builder and SharePoint Designer
• Experience creating and enhancing Vector or Raster graphics using the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience using PowerShell scripts for systems automation and for creating administrative tasks in SharePoint
• Experience in creating graphical user interface pages tailored to user needs
• Experience developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining web sites
• Experience conducting quality assurance on web sites
• Experience designing architectures to support user requirements
• Experience communicating technical and non-technical recommendations for improving user interfaces

• Experience creating and managing document libraries using SharePoint Online to enhance user collaboration and communication
• Experience using SharePoint InfoPath Forms
