Excel Diagnostics & Nuclear Oncology center is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist.

With a Sign On Bonus

• Performs high quality mammography radiographic exams on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures: Prepares patients for exam, explains procedure, positions patients for the exam, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of the images

• Repeat/reject image analysis is maintained on a daily basis
• Performs quality assurance on mammography equipment
• Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints or equipment malfunction to department management
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and notify all pertinent team members in a timely manner

• Participates in development of Policies and Procedures within the department

• Communicate effectively and courteously with visitors, physicians and their office staffs, patients and employees

Minimum Qualifications Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology;
• Graduate of an approved program of mammography technology
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
• Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
• Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M)
• Working knowledge of mammography quality assurance measures and accreditation requirements
• One-year full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist with documentation of clinical experience and 3D required
• MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
