Summary/Objective

The Software Developer will be responsible for the development of our current and future technology projects. They will write code, modify existing code to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance or upgrade interfaces, write and execute test plans, handle version control, and change management documentation. They will also be involved in developing and directing system testing and validation procedures and working with customers or internal stakeholders on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

Essential Functions

• Developing and modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
• Familiarity with User Centered Design.
• System testing and validation procedures.
• Software programming, version control and documentation development.
• Consulting with internal stake holders on project status and proposals.
• Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
• Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
• Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
• Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
• Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.

Competencies

• Knowledge of and experience in programming languages including C#, Visual Basic and .NET, Java and Javascript, Apex, Python, Transact SQL and the software development life cycle using Agile.
• A working knowledge of SalesForce, ServiceNow, and NetSuite is a plus.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle using Agile concepts.
• Must be a full-stack developer and understand concepts of software engineering.
• Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
• Deep programming language knowledge.
• Ability to develop and execute unit test plans.
• Creativity is always a plus.
• The desire to work in a fast-paced environment with managers and peers.

Work Environment

Hybrid, remote and in-office as required.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
