Evolve Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for immediate opening in the Iowa City, IA area.

Job Description ::

MUST be listed on the Direct Care Registry

*This position will be fulltime, 2nd shift in an Assisted Living facility. 

Assists tenants with self-administration of medications and documents. 

Assists with fostering tenant's autonomy and independence. 

Determines how to best accomplish functions within established procedures and policies and confers with the Nurse Supervisor or designee on any unusual situations or problems. 

May document vital signs and selected care activities. 

Performs basic treatments, such as passive range of motion, simple dressing changes, and skin care. 

Recognizes and reports changes in tenant's physical conditions and cognitive/emotional status. Reports observed variances to the Nurse Supervisor or designee.

Performs all duties in compliance with applicable regulatory standards. Maintains knowledge base and continuing education to ensure compliance with JCAHO, Medicare/Medicaid and other guidelines. Notifies management of any breaches of standards and contributes to improvement processes.

Qualification :: 

High school diploma required

In the past 24 months: been employed as a CNA OR Successful completion of a 75-hour nurse aide class, with 16 hours supervised practical training. 

Hours: 3pm-11pm
