In this role, you will participate in month end close activities, including the preparation and review of monthly reconciliations. You will be able to use your research skills to help design, implement, maintain and manage all related processes and functions. Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:

• Work closely with the contracts and general ledger Accounting teams to review and record all contracts
• Manage vendor creation process
• Ensure timely completion of month-end close and reporting; prepare month-end accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and review AP and T&E functions
• Provide top-level of customer service to operation leaders
• Proactively research accounting guidance
• Work with external auditors to ensure communication of accurate and timely information for quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Participate in the SOX implementation
• Participate in other special projects and analyses as needed
• Take ownership of responsibilities and be able to document detailed workflow

Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1- 3 years of professional accounting experience with varied financial reporting, accounting and business management practices. Public accounting experience is a plus
• Experience and knowledge of US GAAP
• High level of organization and attention to details
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated to grow with the Company and ability to adapt to change
• Able to think critically and escalate issue appropriately to management
