We’re seeking a curious and passionate Full-Stack Engineer to join our technology team. You will be responsible for designing and building new features to support our growth and improve efficiency in business processes. Our team follows a scrum team model consisting of product ownership, engineering and quality assurance.

As a dynamic company, we move fast and seek to continuously improve – and while this will be a very demanding position, you’ll be surrounded by a passionate team of individuals who are dedicated to the common goal of drastically changing the way personal property is sold, bought and moved across the country – and we have a lot of fun while we’re doing it. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build pages/components/features across multiple client-side applications using technologies like React, React Native, Redux, Flow, Typescript.
• Build and maintain multiple server-side applications using technologies like Ruby on Rails, MySQL, GraphQL, Go (Golang).
• Build elegant and performant code, contribute to best practices, create innovative solutions and foster creativity.
• Collaborate with team members through pairing and code reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years of development experience.
• Experience with some of the following or similar technologies and a willingness to learn the rest:
  • Typescript
  • Ruby on Rails
  • GraphQL
  • React/React Native (hooks, context, etc.)
  • Redux
  • Next.js
  • MySQL
  • Go (Golang)
• Experience working in a small and fast paced Agile/Scrum environment.
• A desire to help teammates, a love for sharing knowledge and experiences, and a willingness to learn from others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong skill-set in creative problem solving.
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with 
  • CI/CD, especially CircleCI
  • Expo and App Store/Play Store deployment
