What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at EverStaff?
We are looking for a Graphic Designer for our client in Wood Dale! You will be responsible for creating marketing material to current and potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling and effective design concepts for a wide range of projects, including but not limited to marketing materials, branding elements, social media graphics, website designs, packaging, and print collateral.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all visual assets consistently adhere to the brand's guidelines and standards, maintaining a cohesive and impactful brand identity.
- Create engaging digital assets for various online platforms, including social media, website banners, email newsletters, and digital advertisements, with a focus on optimizing user experience.
- Develop eye-catching print materials, such as brochures, posters, flyers, and product packaging, ensuring they meet print production requirements and stand out in both physical and digital formats.
- Utilize illustration skills to produce original graphics and icons that enhance design concepts and complement the brand's overall visual language.
- Collaborate with photographers and use image editing software to enhance and retouch visuals, aligning them with the desired brand aesthetics.
- Take ownership of design projects from start to finish, managing timelines, revisions, and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Stay informed about current design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve and bring innovative ideas to the table.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative projects across various media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- B2B experience preferred - manufacturing experience a plus.
- AutoCAD experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to feedback and iterate on designs based on constructive criticism.
- Experience in UI/UX design and video editing is a plus.
