We are looking for an SEO Analyst to join our dynamic and highly collaborative Site Merchandising & Experience team, part of the broader eCommerce organization. The person in this role will serve as a critical subject matter expert on the team, optimizing our SEO strategy, and ensuring that we are set up for growth and success. Partnering closely with our in-house editorial, technical, and site merchandising & experience teams, as well as with our external agency, this role will be responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of our SEO strategy. This role requires technical experience, problem solving skills, and the ability to turn insights into optimizations.This is a fully remote position and will report directly to our Digital Merchandising leader. 

Your day-to-day:

  • Lead analysis, planning, and execution of our SEO roadmap, ensuring we are positioned for growth and success within this channel
  • Execute on-page day-to-day tactical website updates for SEO value
  • Continuously stay on top of industry changes, emerging opportunities, best practices, search data, and market trends impacting the business, informing and educating stakeholders, and recommending areas of improvement
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business to optimize our SEO strategy across all touch points, including:
    • Partnering with our editorial team on our newly launched blog, recommending relevant content and establishing credibility in advance of key seasons
    • Partnering with our tech teams on technical roadmaps to impact site speed and SEO 
    • Partnering with our Digital Merchandising & Experience teams, to ensure Collection Pages and site content are optimized
  • Manage the relationship with our SEO agency partners, ensuring industry best practices are in place, while optimizing the impact and ROI of this partnership
  • Analyze performance and insights to determine optimization opportunities, and turning insights into actions
    • Monitor SEO performance, including site speed, keyword and content optimizations, traffic, sales, rankings to determine opportunities to increase SEO contribution to sales; share learnings weekly and monthly with key stakeholders

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • BA/BS in related field
  • 3 years of SEO experience
  • A deep knowledge of SEO best practices; strong understanding and use of strategic thinking, data, and innovation to optimize our SEO strategy
  • Experience working in-house and partnering with an agency
  • Experience with Looker, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, etc.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • The desire to work on a fast-paced, collaborative, and diverse team
  • Ability to use data and insights to make informed and impactful decisions, and the owner/operator mindset to translate the data into actions and improvements
  • An incredible focus on operational excellence and getting the fundamentals right while identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement
  • Able to manage many projects and drive multiple threads of work to completion
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience in retail/e-commerce
    • Experience & interest in sustainability

If you are a Colorado resident, this is for you: At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The compensation for this role starts at a minimum annual salary $63,000. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience. 

If you are a New York resident, this is for you: At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The annual compensation range for this role is $63,000 - $90,000 . The range may vary depending on your geographic location within the New York market.
