To support this, The Reinsurance Corporate Underwriting department of Everest Global Services, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for a Corporate Underwriting – Quality Assurance Director. This is a hybrid position based in either our New York, NY or Warren, NJ office working 3 days onsite, 2 remote. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ability to independently conduct scheduled Underwriting Quality Control reviews for global reinsurance business across multiple disciplines by assessing submissions, quotes, underwriting analysis, pricing, authority, contract wording, process controls and compliance with the corporate standards and best underwriting practices Assist the Head of UW Quality with the full cycle of the underwriting quality reviews: planning, files selection, identify issues, report drafting, and post-review follow up Participate in maintenance and updates of TeamThink, the underwriting quality review tool Interact with Corporate Underwriting team, Underwriters, Underwriting Assistants, Actuarial, Internal Audit and other functional areas globally in response to requests and inquiries from internal business partners Support the Corporate Underwriting team with day-to-day key operations initiatives, ad hoc projects, or business needs Qualifications, Education & Experience: Minimum 12 years of current Property & Casualty Reinsurance Underwriting experience (treaty and/or facultative) Auditing experience in reinsurance industry preferred Bachelor’s degree, or above and re/insurance certification, or equivalent experience Well organized with high attention to detail and excellent time management skills to effectively multi-task and prioritize tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in collaborative team environment Proficiency in technical data searching/report building/system maintenance, Microsoft Suite with Strong Excel skills For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000 annually.
