GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Customer Experience Team is the heartbeat of the Evelyn & Bobbie brand. You will be setting and maintaining a standard of excellence with every customer interaction via phone and email. Our customers require a “high-touch” experience when they interact with you regarding products, sizing, placing orders, returns, and exchanges, etc.
The individual in this role should have a passion for helping people, be technology proficient, be comfortable explaining the details of our products, and be aligned with our brand ethos. The Customer Experience Associate should have a natural rapport with customers but is equally skilled in problem-solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the face of Evelyn & Bobbie, providing world-class service to all customers.
- Maintain the Evelyn & Bobbie values in all customer interactions.
- Provide timely communication with customers via email and phone, regarding anything but not limited to sizing, setting up returns, exchanges, and product questions.
- Become an expert on all product details, future stock deliveries, sales promotions, and customer service policies.
- Maintain active use and knowledge of the Evelyn & Bobbie website and back-office systems.
- Work closely with the distribution center to resolve customer queries.
- Observe, at all times, customer confidentiality and company policy regarding data protection and security.
- Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department concerns.
- Additional administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience in delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer questions as a customer service advisor, sales associate, or similar, ideally in apparel or intimate apparel retail environment.
- Ability to adapt to the changing structure of a growing company and team.
- Articulate with exceptional writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills and experience with conflict resolution.
- Experience using Zendesk and Shopify are a plus.
- Well organized with an innate attention to detail.
- Technology-savvy skill set, with proficiency G Suite and Mac iOS.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, along with a willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance.
