Job Title: Senior Recruiter

FT/PT/Contractor: Full Time, Exempt 

Primary Location: Hybrid/telework position located at Evans corporate office in Falls Church, VA


Our Senior Recruiter will be responsible for leading and managing Evans’ recruiting efforts, to assist with implementing the overall Evans Talent Acquisition strategy.

 

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process, to include ATS updates and maintenance, candidate review, interview scheduling and coordination, and candidate pipeline development.  
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the current and future needs of Evans, focusing on inclusivity and the expansion of sourcing options to support workforce diversification. 
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other stakeholders to identify the hiring criteria, assist with the creation of external position descriptions, and provide regular status updates. 
  • Capture and analyze recruiting metrics, and provide recommendations for process improvement, based on industry best practices and trends.  
  • Act as a brand ambassador that includes designing and providing content for the Evans website and social media accounts.? 
  • Identify and engage with alternative sources for finding candidates to support Evans in diversifying its workforce 
  • Act as the liaison with recruiting partners and vendors. 
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies. 
  • Maintain up-to-date recruiting processes and ensure any changes are communicated to all affected parties.  

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (i.e., management, human resources, business administration, communications, hospitality, etc.) 
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience working autonomously in a full cycle recruiting role (or additional years of experience, in lieu of degree) 
  • Prior experience recruiting in a government contracting environment is required and experience recruiting and sourcing hard-to-fill government positions. 
  • Experience with OFCCP compliance is preferred.  
  • Experience recruiting for all levels of Security Clearance is preferred. 
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, quality, and competence in internal communications. 
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, self-starter attitude, self-awareness and integrity.  
  • Must have experience in recruiting for all levels of Security Clearance Levels. 
  • Solid knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws related to recruitment.  
  • Skilled at active listening, creative problem-solving, and managing ambiguity. 
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills with a proven ability to create clear, concise and tactful messages. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadline and keep commitments. 
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills. 
  • Understand personal accountability and authenticity in approaching interactions with colleagues and candidates. 
  • Proficiency in software and tools specific to the employee’s level and area of expertise (e.g., HRIS, excel, calendar management, survey design).
