Overview

Eutaw Construction Company, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Administrator to work with our construction company in Madison, MS. The applicant must possess a strong work ethic and be self-motivated. As Project Admin/Engineer, you will perform tasks related to the field management on heavy civil, underground and highway construction projects. The primary responsibilities are to coordinate materials and change orders, expedite material procurement on the job, prepare monthly progress billings, compile production and cost statistics and analyze production statistics to identify problem areas.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
  • Assist in compiling, processing, and confirming daily field activities
  • Participate in job site safety reviews, meetings, and safety training
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction operations on the job site
  • Works with superintendents on projects to achieve project goals and milestones
  • Knowledge of construction safety and current federal and OSHA requirements
  • Maintains knowledge of Eutaw’s company values and strategic plan
  • Assist in solving technical issues

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
  • A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawing and specifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
