JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Intern’s primary objective is to assist the Human Resources department in handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, and planning company events.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Assists with recruitment and onboarding activities including job fairs, advertising, and onboarding.
• Participate and help organize company events.
• Support projects in Human Resources such as leave administration and record retention.
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Should be in the process of obtaining an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field at an accredited college or university.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Team player who is able to work with both internal and external customers in a professional manner
• Respect confidentiality and handle matters with discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft application (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Some bending and twisting are required. Routine duties will occasionally require lifting approximately 10-20 pounds (and periodically heavier loads.)
