Essex Westford School District is seeking a full-time School Nurse to join a dynamic team of nurses supporting students at Essex High School and Center for Technology, beginning in the 23/24 school year. The school nurse collaborates with teachers and administrators to integrate health and wellness knowledge and skills across the school, drawing on their experience in pediatric, community health, emergency, adult, and mental health nursing.EWSD offers excellent benefits including generous paid time off, medical and dental insurance, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a retirement plan with up to 6% employer contribution.The successful candidate will possess the following:

• bachelors degree
• Hold a valid license as a Professional Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Vermont.
• 1-3 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Hold (or be eligible to hold) a valid Vermont Educators License with a 3-65 school nurse endorsement.
• Experience with supporting students across broad aspects of the school's system of support.
• Experience working with high school students preferred.
• Knowledge in general nursing and school nursing concepts and skills
• Effectively works with others, including those with opinions or beliefs different from their own.
