JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

The Essential Wholesale & Labs Staff Accountant's primary objective is to be responsible for reviewing, research and correcting invoicing, following up with internal staff and vendors for clarifying information. Must be able to analyze and improve workflow processes and be solution oriented.

• Manage daily sales and daily inventory report.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.
• Respond to eCommerce and Supply Chain departments with the following items; customer refunds, provide backup information for customers about questioned payments.
• Provide POSs for Account Managers when requested by Supply Chain.
• Create customer statements and transaction history when requested.
• Cash collection and A/R management.
• Reconciling A/R to subledger.
• Reconcile inventory accounts.
• Reconciling Inventory to subledger.
• Lead person on year end physical inventory preparation, entering counts and reporting
• Support with month end closing.
• Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.

Competencies/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytic abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• High degree of attention to detail and multi-tasking
• Ownership and pride in work product
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is a plus
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Must be able to work occasionally in a typical office environment, including sitting at a desk and working on a computer for extended periods - In Office and has the option for a potential hybrid work model after training
