Summary of Position:

At EspriGas, we pride ourselves on making the complex simple. We are seeking a savvy, self-driven relationship builder to join our team as our newest Accounts Payable Specialist.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Process requests in the Accounts Payable work queue utilizing Salesforce and Microsoft Navision. Inquiries including payment status requests, research short pays, and other items as needed
• Reconcile supplier monthly statements, and request copies of missing supplier invoices in a timely manner to decrease invoicing delays
• Handle research relating to past due vendor invoices by conducting extensive research into the discrepancy
• Assist with weekly check disbursements in accordance with company policy
• Review, prepare and send supplier payments and remittance details

• Draft and send correspondence to suppliers to update account information

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not required
• 2 years of accounts payable experience

Skills/Abilities:

• Intermediate Excel skills are required
• Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Navision strongly preferred
• Customer-centric approach with a sense of urgency
• Ability to establish and nourish effective working relationships with customers, managers, supply partners, and fellow employees
• A self-starter with a “can-do” mentality
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organization skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
