Our skilled nursing facility is hiring an experienced RN or LPN to provide medical care and advice to patients. You will develop and implement nursing and medical plans of care, administer medications, educate patients, monitor and evaluate patient progress, collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and communicate in a professional, ethical manner. Being detail oriented is a must because you will be assessing physical and emotional needs of patients as part of all care plans. The goal is to improve overall wellness and health of all patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to regulations and perform specific duties to ensure that the patient's health is not compromised by any negligence or misconduct.

2. Communicate effectively with patients, family members/resident representatives, and other healthcare workers within the facility.

3. Administer medication and medical treatments according to medical staff's instructions and patient needs.

4. Assist in the evaluation of medical cases and treatments.

5. Comply with infections control policies during treatment of patients with infectious diseases ( e.g. AIDS, tuberculosis)

6. Collect, record and analyze daily data on patient care activities.

7. Follow up on previous patient care treatments and charts with stated timeframes.

8. Monitor patients' physical condition to assess health status or complications in treatment.

9. Organize, prioritize and implement the treatment procedure.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
