ERT, Inc. is Hiring a Procurement Specialist Near Suitland, MD

Position Description

  • Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations for requested requirements
  • Evaluate and negotiate pricing with manufacturers and resellers
  • Track purchase orders to update inventory with new items and period of performance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products to include Access, Adobe Acrobat Editor
  • Assist in the updating of hardware and software inventory database.

Required Skills
5 years experience with purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Experience evaluating vendor quotes and services and analyzing materials and supply to reduce costs and improve quality.

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to enter the applicable government facility.

Education
BS in related discipline, or equivalent.
