Erickson-Hall Construction Co. is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist Near Escondido, CA

Exciting opportunity to be part of a creative, values driven, positive thinking Human Resources team with a leading construction company! Erickson Hall Co. is currently looking for a Human Resources Generalist for our growing HR department based in lovely Escondido, CA. To be successful in this position you will need to be open to learning, disciplined and systems-driven, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently and have a genuine interest in helping team members with a positive and proactive attitude.

Duties:

  • Assist with the administration of HR programs.
  • Develop and administer an effective on-boarding process ensuring consistent messaging across the organization.
  • Support the HR Team to execute projects including business plan initiatives, communications, results tracking, and reporting.
  • Solid knowledge and ability to administer benefits programs and open enrollments.
  • Assist with pre-employment processing, background checks and testing.
  • Assist in completing check-in protocol feedback loops with new team members.
  • Build and maintain relationships advocating for the company culture with all levels of our team.
  • Utilize and implement various human resource information systems (HRIS) and provide support to employees and managers.
  • Maintain training logs and scheduling.
  • Assisting with training manuals, employee handbooks, training presentations and other department documentation.
  • Coordinating meetings, conferences, and other company events
  • Assisting with research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues.
  • Assisting with all projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Self-starter with strong multi-tasking and follow-up skills
  • Identifies and resolves problems promptly.

  • Responds to requests for service and assistance.
  • Superb organizational skills and desire to get it right.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
