ERAUINC Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Univ Inc. is Hiring a Plumber Near Daytona Beach, FL

Job Description Take your career to new heights! The Facilities Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a Plumber to join the team at our Daytona Beach campus. Responsibilities include the following: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of Daytona Campus swimming pool, Welcome Center reflection pond and plumbing related equipment. Handle maintenance in the pool building, order supplies, and maintain pool water chemistry. Maintain, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, water heating systems, drainage and potable water distribution systems, lift stations and back flow prevention devices at all University locations. Complete preventative maintenance and work orders as assigned. Assist with bathroom remodel and compressed air distribution. Responsible for boilers, closed water systems in all complexes and for the safe handling of related chemicals. Responsible for the efficient use of plumbing and water saving devices according to manufacturer’s schematics and blueprints. Maintain plumbing water softener H2O analysis. Required skills, knowledge and abilities: Must have at least three (3) year’s experience in maintenance or building construction field, and/or Journeyman Plumber license. Must be able to read blue prints, make calculations and keep records. Basic mechanical skills in use of hand and power tools.
