In this Talent Engagement role, you will be an integral part of the Operational team, responsible for greeting clients and managing the reception area, client outreach, and appointment scheduling. In this role, it is integral that you manage client information in the database and see each client through to completion. You will support management by gathering needed data and generating reports. In this role, you will also assist with new participant orientations and assembling all necessary informational materials or packets.
In this role you will:Data entry/review - Review customer application for completeness Use system of record to look up information to review file status to determine next steps. Effectively communicate with career advisors and Eligibility specialist to discuss issues with missing documentation. Resource room duties - Provide assistance to customers trying to apply for employment, register into the system of record, or upload documents.• Ensure all job seekers register in the System of Record; provide assistance with registration on initial visit• Encourage participation in relevant workshops by presenting the benefits • Provide overview of all career center services encouraging questions• Provide expert guidance based upon individual needs, goals and preferences• Make referrals as appropriate• Listens to job seeker requests in order to deliver needed services in a sensitive and considerate manner• Accurately directs job seekers to needed resources • Delivers promised services in a timely, friendly and consistent manner; uses a considerate and tactful approach in delivery of services • Exhibits support of the project vision of providing excellent customer service • Routinely elicits feedback and surveys from customers; responds promptly to job seeker inquires• Develops and maintains effective work relationships 100% of the time; contributes to team tasks and projects 100% of the time• Provides program information, job readiness and search guidance to job seeker base in clear and concise manner to assist in enhancing performance• Utilizes business writing skills when corresponding with team; ensures verbal and non-verbal communication is professional and tactful • Experience working with the public in a fast paced environment; excellent writing skills; experience developing, reviewing and critiquing resumes; • knowledge and familiarity with commonly used job search websites and resources, including labor market research tools; • strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), social media, and web search techniques. • Team contributor with a pleasant personality• Strong work ethic• Strong office soft skills
You are a self-motivated and flexible team player. You consider yourself to have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. You’re driven and comfortable multitasking. You take pride in your ability to recognize and solve problems as they arise. You enjoy making connections with others both in person and over the phone. You have a High School or General Education Diploma or higher and 1-2 years of clerical experience and are ready to make an impact.

**Must be able to drive to any office location in all area counties (Clayton, Douglas, Henry, Fayette, Gwinnett, and the ARC downtown location) occasionally as needed to meet project needs**
