Our platform enables large, private companies to deliver liquidity to their shareholders while providing investors access to invest in these proven, pre-IPO companies. EquityZen has served over 250 pre-IPO technology companies and is proud to be considered a liquidity provider for 60% of the largest US unicorns. A testament to EquityZen’s secure, paperless, and industry-defining online investment platform, we have successfully completed 30,000 private placement transactions. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assist with financial statement preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including consolidations
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations
• Take the lead with crossfunctional projects and initiatives
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

THE RIGHT STUFF

• 7 years of previous accounting experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Finance
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Humble team player who enjoys, and is successful in, a collaborative environment

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE 

• Previous broker-dealer experience
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software
