SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a key member of the executive management team and drive all financial planning, business modeling, accounting, treasury, forecasting and management reporting activities for ePac. This position will be responsible for the development of a financial strategy and metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead financial and accounting operations across the organization, partnering with leadership to develop and implement operating initiatives.
- Partner with the other members of the Executive management team on financing strategy, board communications, company culture and corporate development, utilizing existing relationships and building new ones across the finance community
- Responsible for supporting ePac’s growth, while managing the company's liquidity needs, forecasting process, and developing key business insights.
- Own stakeholder due diligence, board packages, and run monthly financial business processes.
- Deliver an internal consolidated close by the 10th business day of each month .
- Synchronize operational and financial strategy, ensure effective capital structure and manage the budgeting process.
- Oversee all financial reporting to executive leadership, board directors and investors. Develop dashboards and metrics to track the business financial performance and drive strategy.
- Ability to wear multiple hats and be a hands-on leader. Allocate resources to build an effective team structure that balances process, accountability and scalability while facilitating innovation.
- Build and mentor Finance and Accounting teams and support through the implementation of systems, processes, internal controls and policies
- Demonstrate strong Financial stewardship. Direct resource allocation and monitor company expenditures.
- Oversee internal and external Financial Reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Ensuring that the annual audit is completed on a timely basis.
- Provide support on various operational tasks including P&L and financial projections, pricing and valuation models and company presentations

- Strong financial acumen and experience of overseeing the profitable growth of a fast growing manufacturing company

- Strong communication and team building skills, with the ability to develop and maintain productive relationships
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage a heavy workload.
- Outstanding strategic planning skills and the ability to translate complex company objectives into actionable plans.
- Ability to deal with multiple financial institutions and balance different capital structures for liquidity needs.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- The candidate chief financial officer should have a master's degree in accounting or business administration, or 10 years of progressive experience.
- MBA in Finance or a CPA is preferred but not required
- At least 2 years of experience in managing a treasury function or in a treasury role.
- Must have 5 years of managing a team.
- Expert in US GAAP methods and practices.
- 5 years of leadership-level financial management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have experience in partnering with an executive team and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
