Our office in Irvine, CA. is hiring a Content Manager to support skill development and education for our growing 100 advisor team. The role requires a passion for serving others by creating training and skill development content. Direct advisory Learning and Development content creation experience is essential as the focus of the content will be on developing hard and soft skills within our advisor team. Ideal candidates understand that the outcome of their success is measured by the behaviors of others and can provide learning content and programs that reinforce this. This role is key to enabling our advisor team to grow and expand individual and team skills, boosting the team's brand as a destination for talent, and reinforcing EP Wealth's commitment to its people and the client experience.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the Practice Management/Learning and Development offering for the EP Wealth Advisory team by driving client-centricity through our proprietary relationship and prospect processes. Our model is Financial Planning driven, client focused, and growth through client, COI and custodian partner advocacy oriented. • Writing and creating educational content for EP Wealth's Advisor team across the full spectrum of EP Wealth's sales and relationship processes, advisor craft and capabilities, and overall practice management operation; finding and documenting/communicating existing learning resources; and partnering with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to create advisor education that meets learning outcomes.
• Working directly with Director of Learning and Development, plus advisory leadership (Director of Wealth Advisory, Training Working Group and Regional Director focus group(s)) to create content in topic areas and shape the curriculum needed to develop advisor skill sets that may include advisor growth and service strategies, discipline-specific skill development, and advisor tool-based training.
• Partner with Director and SMEs to create compelling training materials [case studies, role plays, best practices, skill development, coaching tools, how to use software applications]; organize and communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand way that facilitates learning, while following organizational writing guidelines by working with our internal communications team.
• Create visuals that enhance the learning experience and enable knowledge transfer through the application of visual and instructional design principles.
• Develop effective learning experiences using a variety of modalities, including video, live webinars, leave-behind content, and interactive experiences.
• Primary facilitator of national training sessions and the bulk of training would be conducted via Zoom sessions with the advisor team. At times, it is expected that the Manager will also have the opportunity to facilitate training sessions, mainly through ZOOM. Content will also be used by the "Director" and Regional Directors for in-person training and coaching for their advisory teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and CFP preferred
• Experience working with or on an advisory Learning and Development team, plus an understanding of CFP level client experience and capabilities delivery is preferred.
• Understanding of advisory craft and tools, and/or proven ability to quickly understand new disciplines.
• Excellent communication skills with experience developing content in a variety of styles and types.
• Excellent time management and project management skills, balancing multiple projects at a time
• Ability to partner with wide variety of stakeholders and project teams
• Ability to learn changing technologies and tools quickly, including Office365, computer-based training tools, Monday.com and CRM
• Strong aptitude in video, audio, and graphic creation
• Self-leadership
