We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Tech Desktop Support III on our team based in Dallas, TX

Desktop Support Technician III is responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, imaging and installingcomputer and network equipment while providing technical 2nd tier customer desktop support to all EVHCemployees with the objective of resolving most without escalation.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging, maintenance, upgrades and deployment of software and computerhardware• Supports end-users via phone, remote support tools and hands on interaction• Skilled in issue determination and resolution• Supports Microsoft Office application issues• Supports Windows 7, 8, 10 on Dell hardware• Supports Windows 7, 8, 10 on Microsoft hardware• Supports MacOS on Apple hardware• Supports wireless connectivity for approved hardware and mobile devices• Installs approved applications in a timely manner• Escalates issues and effectively communicate to appropriate personnel for resolution.• Documents all work related to customer incidents through Sheridan ticketing system• Writes and edits knowledge base articles of known issue resolutions and technicalinformation• Train and mentor more junior department personnel• Performs root cause analysis and trending as it relates to customer incident resolution• Contributes to the continual process improvement of department processes / tools used• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds• Deploy and move workstations• Some travel required to support remote offices (10 – 25%)• Other duties as assigned• Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employeehandbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, includingparticipation in mandatory training programs• Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, companypolicies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with thereporting policies of the company• Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources availablethrough the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills and strong verbal / written communicationskills with the ability to communicate effectively with both novice computer users andexperienced professionals.• Must effectively manage time to make certain customer incidents are properly respondedto in a timely manner• Must have experience in a first call resolution focused environment• Must have working knowledge of imaging, setup, repair and configuration of Dell, Apple,Microsoft related hardware• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (7,8, 10),Microsoft Office (2010, 2013, 2016) and the ability to troubleshoot related issuesaccordingly• Must have basic experience with Active Directory administration• Must have basic experience with Citrix administration and end-user support• Must have basic working knowledge in the configuration and troubleshooting of networkprinters, scanners and other peripherals.• Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively complete assignments within anestimated time frame.• Must have a general understanding of Service Management concepts (ITIL, ITSM)

Education/Experience:• Associate Degree and/or related certification and 2 or more years of related experiencein a Desktop Support environment• Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University preferred

Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:• Windows 7, 8, 10 operating system troubleshooting and configuration• Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013/2016, configuration and troubleshooting• Desktop hardware / software installation, configuration and troubleshooting• Network / local Printer, scanner and other peripheral installation, configuration andtroubleshooting• Desktop imaging creation / deployment experience with MDT or SCCM preferred

Certificates and Licenses:Required: A , MCP, AA DegreePreferred: CompTIA Certifications (MCSE, and/or Network ), ITIL Foundations
