We are located across the street from the Miquon Train Station which is on Septa's Manayunk/ Norristown Regional Rail line. This is a 7 minute commute from the Manayunk Station, 15 minutes from the North Broad Station, 25 minutes from the Jefferson Station and 35 minutes from 30th Street Station.
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a full-time, entry-level Customer Service Representative in our Conshohocken, PA Office.
Responsibilities:
Summary:
The Customer Service Representative will contact patients, hospitals and employers by telephone to obtain or verify insurance information quickly, accurately, and professionally. This IS NOT a collections or sales position. Bilingual (Spanish/English) are strongly encouraged to apply.
This position will be considered hybrid with a mix of at home and in office work.
Hours: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Monday-Friday. No weekends!!
Pay rate: $15.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- View patient charts via computer and determine necessary insurance information.
- Input information through either the predictive dialer system or manually.
- Contact patients, employers, attorneys and insurance companies to collect insurance data via telephone.
- Check (via telephone) to see if patients are eligible with their state welfare program to be able to receive medical benefits.
- Follow up with any managed Medicaid accounts to obtain provider names, provider numbers and/or authorizations as needed.
- Other duties as assigned

- Great attitude and customer service skills
- Must have a good phone manner and be able to handle phone calls quickly, accurately and professionally.
- Ability to handle irate patient phone calls while maintaining professional composure.
- Solid past work history (although no previous work experience in this field is necessary)
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Requires basic PC and keyboarding skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
Education / Experience:
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
