EnviroScience is looking to hire a full time, entry level Environmental Scientist to support our growing Compliance Services Practice Area at the company headquarters in Stow, Ohio. This position will best fit someone who can work independently, successfully manage multiple tasks, exhibits scientific writing skills, and is willing to travel.

Responsibilities include:
• Multi media sampling including surface water, groundwater, sediment, soil sampling, stormwater and waste
• Performing audits, inspections and site visits
• Conducting field work year-round in adverse weather and rough terrain
• Organizing and reviewing data and preparing reports
• Ability to represent the client’s best interests and support the client as needed during the duration of the project
• Flexibility for overnight and extended travel
• Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications


Other qualifications include:
• Associate degree in environmental science or a related field
• 0-3 years field experience
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems and skills
• Experience with soil classification Experience with Global Position Systems (GPS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, customer focused and able to work independently and part of a team
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER preferred but not required
• Able to operate a boat preferred but not required
