Responsibilities

On a typical day, the AR Manager will contribute to the Inotiv team by:

• Manage the AR team’s workload and assign priorities as needed
• Identify and manage all career development and training issues within the team
• Deliver clear and timely communication on all issues, both internal and external
• Actively lead and participate in team, department and business meetings as appropriate
• Lead the team to continuously improve performance and achieve individual and team goals
• Ensure compliance with SOX guidelines
• Ensure procedures are up to date and fully complied with
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal customers and/or suppliers
• Oversees and reviews individual/group Accounts receivable portfolios, collection efforts including dispute research and resolution
• Special projects and tasks as assigned by management
• Manage audit requests from internal and external teams

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, this position requires that the AR Manager brings:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years related experience and/or the equivalent combination of training and experience which indicates the ability to do the job
• Familiarity with computer accounting systems; D365 and/or JDE experience is a plus
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel
• Full understanding of SOX documentation needs and compliance
• Strong analytical skillset
• Willing and able to challenge the norm to gain efficiencies
• Good organizational skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with staff at various levels. Attention to detail and accuracy a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Physical Activity

• Moderate physical activity This position will require frequent walking, sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time, carrying, heavy lifting (max. 50 lbs), reaching while standing, gripping and twisting hand movements, finger control and other general repetitive motions (for more than four [4] hours per day)

Working Conditions

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior office work environment
• The noise level is usually moderate
