And, of course, to be themselves. We’re looking for a Machinist! Entrust Datacard is currently seeking a Machinist to join our dynamic, growing Manufacturing team. As a Machinist you will have the opportunity to fabricate and repair metal and plastic parts by operating multi-axis machining centers. The Machinist also assembles parts into sub-units or complete units and uses blueprints, design sketches, and various measuring tools to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product are achieved. The Machinist will complete the outlined responsibilities and others as assigned. This position works second (2nd) shift Monday through Thursday 2:30 pm - 1:00 AM. Run various CNC machines as scheduled. Fabricate and assemble fixtures, jigs, and assembly tooling for manufacturing. Ability to understand and edit CNC programs. Use standard measuring tools to inspect work and make adjustments as needed. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and job procedures. Interact with design engineering and manufacturing engineering under general supervision. Take both written and verbal instructions and read and build parts per drawings Perform preventive maintenance procedures to support tooling operations Maintain equipment and work area in safe, clean and operable condition Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of machining experience. Experience setting up and running 3-axis CNC machining centers. High degree of creativity and good communication skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Position requires physical lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, reaching, and standing for long periods of time or entire shift Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US Preferred Qualifications: Desired experience using Mazatrol Controllers. 2-year degree or certificate in a related field.
