Position Overview: The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (Workday) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports Workday upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Responsibilities: Execute all system administration functions including but not limited to dashboard and report management, permission management, configuration modifications, process and form changes Use knowledge of business processes and system functionality to identify ways to customize and enhance current business applications and operating systems to meet the functional needs of the business and improve business process. Work with human resources and business stakeholders to identify potential configuration enhancements. Provide input for strategy and system modifications to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems. Maintain awareness of current trends in HR Systems Administration with a focus on best practices in product and application support and data delivery. Provide design expertise, analysis, testing and implementation support Provide proper analysis of the impact of requested changes related to user or system design specifications and implement in production. Analyze incoming requests and communicate status and issues as necessary. Perform root cause analysis for system issues not operating as designed. Ensure technology-based change requests are relevant and impactful Act as an expert internal resource on system capability and functionality Participate in discussions on future use of technology and business process improvements. Oversee ongoing operation of data integrity maintenance within all applicable HR systems Specific areas of focus include, but not limited to: Core HR, Benefits, Integrations Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree 4 years of combined experience in HR and technology comprised of 3 years of Human Resource experience, as well as 2 years’ experience utilizing HRIS to enhance business processes. Strong knowledge of key human resources functions including personnel administration, recruiting, performance management, employee development, compensation, and succession planning. Substantial knowledge of HR, HR systems, HR processes and their integration with technology Prior experience working with Workday Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US Expertise in MS Excel Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Human Resources, or Business Administration field PHR/SPHR certification Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies Experience on multiple, concurrent projects that have enterprise-wide impact and require subject matter expertise of process improvement areas and process improvement tools Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, Word and PowerPoint. Experience in the elicitation and formal management of requirements management for Data/Reporting projects Knowledge of key human resources functions including recruiting, performance management, employee development, compensation, and succession planning.
