The ERP Analyst reports to the IT Manager at the corporate office and is responsible for writing reports, forms (customer invoice, purchase order, packing slips, etc.), and SQL views/queries for the Sage X3 ERP system (MS SQL 2012) to support the various needs of the business units relating to manufacturing production, inventory control, accounting, etc. The position is responsible for delivery of reporting projects from requirements thru design, development, test and implementation. The ERP Analyst is responsible for gathering, reviewing, understanding, interpreting applicable data. Maintenance and modification of existing reports is also required.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops high quality SQL queries.
• Works with end users to gather needs and collaborate on custom reports.
• Great oral and written communication with the ability to work independently on reporting projects.
• Ensures report writing is optimized, runs efficient queries, and stores procedures.
• Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Create and maintain technical support documentation.
• Create and maintain system and user documentation.
• Train business users.
• Facilitate root cause analysis.
• Work within an agile team to consistently deliver value to multiple stakeholders.
• Possess up to date knowledge of technical developments in the industry.
• Possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Work towards automating process and reports.

Qualification Requirements:

• Must have an associate or bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related degree.
• 2 years of recent experience working within an ERP system
• Previous customizations within an ERP system is preferred but not required
• 2 years of SQL Report Writing (Crystal Reports/View Generation)
• Advanced Skills are required for Microsoft Excel pivot tables and charts.
• Basic Knowledge of scripting is preferred
• Knowledge of data manipulation and import
• Previous experience customizing dashboards and the ability to understand user needs and accessibility when it comes to dashboards.
• Experience utilizing the following programs is preferred but not required:
  • Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360, Sage X3.
• Experience utilizing Python, Clarity and Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
