Safety Manager - Manufacturing

Summary:
Seeking an experienced EHS professional with strong leadership skills to drive and develop the health, safety, and environmental functions and culture.

Requirements:

• 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing work environments
• Experience maintaining, developing, and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and standards
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Confidence to challenge personnel when appropriate
• Authorized to work for any employer in the US
• Willing to relocate to Cambridge, MD with employer-provided relocation package

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective EHS policies, procedures, and standards to meet legislative and internal requirements
• Drive continual improvement and routine management of the EHS program
• Facilitate and ensure all required training is completed
• Communicate with local leadership and HSE Director
• Investigate and complete action items for all incidents
• Analyze data to reduce risk of LTA's and environmental impacts
• Track and report environmental data
• Participate in divisional EHS network and strategic development projects
• Manage EHS budget and ensure compliance with latest Health and Safety legislation
• Lead and conduct EHS investigations and report to relevant parties
• Inform external regulatory bodies or organizations of relevant EHS matters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
