Description
I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision of the Vice President, develops, coordinates, directs, and controls the operations of an Agency facility and assigned Program(s) and associated staff; proactively fosters the mission, goals, and values of the Agency, as well as compliance with the requirements of applicable local, state, and federal regulatory and/or other accrediting agencies.

III. QUALIFICATIONS (required at time of offer):
(1.) At time of appointment, shall possess one of the following:
(a.) Master’s degree in Social Work and one year of experience as a social worker;
(b.) Master’s degree in related field and two years of experience as a social worker
(2.) Exemplary knowledge of assigned Program aspects.
(3.) Prior supervisory experience required.
(4.) Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
(5.) Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
(6.) Prior experience with Microsoft Office and related applications or other IBM-compatible word processing program.
(7.) Able to work a flexible schedule, with “regular” business hours set by the Agency.
(8.) Satisfaction of all employment eligibility and Agency hiring requirements.
IV. RESPONSIBILITIES (illustrative and not intended as inclusive; specific responsibilities may vary):
GENERAL:
(1.) Ensures effective fiscal management of Program operations.
(2.) Accurately and timely prepares, maintains, and reviews all Program-related budgetary reports, contract-specific procedures, and other Agency-specific reports and filings.
(3.) Actively monitors Program budget, contract requirements, and staffing to ensure that Agency resources are utilized in a cost-effective manner.
(4.) Ensures appropriate operation/maintenance of assigned Agency facility.
(5.) Coordinates all necessary documentation, reports, and analyses for Executive Staff and/or Administration as required.
(6.) Apprises the Executive Staff of any employment issues, and participates in investigations, grievances, or other labor issues as required.
(7.) Apprises the Executive Staff of any critical incidents, and participates in investigations and corrective actions as required.
(8.) Maintains professional aptitude in assigned Program functions.
(9.) Develops and maintains an Agency presence in the local community.
(10.) Identifies, evaluates, and pursues Agency-growth opportunities.
(11.) Monitors existing Program and services to ensure that consumers’ needs are met.
(12.) Recommends and develops new programs, or enhances existing programs as needed.
(13.) Attends and participates in all regularly scheduled management meetings and accurately and timely submits all required reports.
(14.) Performs other Agency-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY:
(1.) Directly supervises Program-related staff, ensuring contract compliance and staff efficiency.
(2.) Aids in selecting and hiring Program staff in compliance with the Agency’s Employment Policies & Procedures and Standards of Conduct.
(3.) Facilitates various staff meetings in a professional and timely manner.
(4.) Ensures timely completion of Agency related orientation and trainings for all subordinates.
(5.) Conducts general supervision of subordinates and administers appropriate disciplinary action when necessary, in compliance with the applicable contract requirements and/or Agency’s Employment Policies & Procedures and Standards of Conduct.
(6.) Ensures that performance reviews of subordinates are completed fairly and accurately and in compliance with the Agency’s Employment Policies & Procedures and Standards of Conduct.
(7.) Performs other Agency-related duties as assigned.

(6.) Maintains as confidential all matters related to Agency affairs and refrains from internal and external discussions related to any employee, consumer, financial, or administrative issue except as required as part of job performance.
